Philosophie
Die CeCe Dance Company wurde von Tänzerin und Choreographin Cécile Ströhla, die sich mit sozial kritischen Themen in ihren künstlerischen Arbeiten auseinandersetzt,2020 gegründet.
Die Company besteht aus einem jungen und dynamischen Team, welches vor allem physische Bewegungssprache mit sozialkritischen Fragestellungen auf der Bühne kombiniert.
Die mitwirkenden KünstlerInnen der Company möchten mit ihrer kreativen Arbeit auf Missstände in der Gesellschaft aufmerksam machen und damit eine Veränderung bewirken, zumindest mit ihren Stücken einen Denkanstoß geben und zum Nachdenken anregen.
Ein wichtiger Grundgedanke der Company ist das gemeinsame und kreative Arbeiten, künstlerische Ideen in Form von Tanz und Performances umzusetzen und eine tänzerische Gemeinschaft zu bilden. Somit auch einen Ort aufbauen, bei dem jedes Company- Mitglied seine künstlerischen Gedanken mit einfliessen lässt.
Je nach Konzept und Umfang des Tanzprojektes kann das Ensemble um weitere KünstlerInnen erweitert werden.
Die Company arbeitet immer wieder gerne mit KünstlernInnen aus anderen Bereichen zusammen. Durch die Kollaborationen soll jeder neue Inspiration finden und gegenseitig aus der jeweiligen anderen Kunstsparte lernen, sowie seinen künstlerischen Horizont erweitern.
Die Zusammenarbeiten soll ein Miteinander wachsen und die Entwicklung von spannenden und neuen künstlerischen Projekten ermöglichen.
Im Fokus der künstlerischen Company Arbeit steht auch das Zusammenwachsen, miteinander neue künstlerische Wege zugehen und Geschichten in Form von Tanz zu erzählen.
Wir stehen ganz klar für Gleichberechtigung aller Menschen, gegenseitiger Respekt und Akzeptanz ist ein wichtiger Grundstein in unserer Company.
Diversität und Vielfältigkeit macht uns aus und dafür setzen wir uns auch in der Gesellschaft ein. Diskrimierung jeglicher Art findet bei uns keinen Platz.
Für das Tanzstück End without notice, das wir (Coronabedingt) im Sommer 2022 uraufgeführt haben, setzten wir uns mit dem Klimawandel und dessen Auswirkungen auf unser Leben auseinander.
Im Zuge dessen haben wir eine klimaneutrale Arbeitsweise im Tanz und für Projektprozesse entwickelt und sind stetig dabei diese zu Erweitern und neue Ansätze umzusetzen.
Klimafreundliches Arbeiten, produzieren und zu präsentieren ist ein weiterer Grundgedanke der Company Arbeit und fliesst in die Arbeitsweise mit ein.
Philosophy
CeCe Dance Company was founded by dancer and choreographer Cécile Ströhla, who deals with socially critical issues in her artistic works,2020.
The company consists of a young and dynamic team, which mainly combines physical movement language with socially critical issues on stage.
With their creative work, the participating artists of the company want to draw attention to grievances in society and thus bring about a change in today's society, or at least give food for thought with their pieces and make people think.
An important basic idea of the company is to work together and to be creative together, to implement artistic ideas in the form of dance and performances and to form a dance community. Thus, also to build a place where each company member can incorporate his or her artistic thoughts.
Depending on the concept and scope of the dance project, the ensemble can be expanded to include additional artists.
The company is always happy to collaborate with artists from other fields. Through the collaborations, everyone should find new inspiration and learn from each other's artistic fields, as well as broaden their artistic horizons.
The collaborations should grow a togetherness and enable the development of exciting and new artistic projects.
The focus of the artistic company work is also to grow together, to explore new artistic paths with each other and to tell stories in the form of dance.
We clearly stand for equality of all people, mutual respect and acceptance is an important cornerstone in our company.
Diversity and variety are what make us what we are, and we are also committed to this in society. Discrimination of any kind has no place in our company.
For the dance piece End without notice, which we premiered in the summer of 2022 (due to Corona), we dealt with climate change and its effects on our lives.
In the course of this we have developed a climate-neutral way of working in dance and for project processes and are constantly expanding this and implementing new approaches.
Climate-friendly working, producing and presenting is another basic idea of the company's work and flows into the way we work.
